Meet Louis
To further his knowledge of biomechanics, Louis studied Anatomy in Motion™ under the guidance of Gary Ward. His curiosity about natural patterns as the basis for osteopathy then drew him to the ancient wisdom of the Huang Di Nei Jing (the oldest book of Chinese medicine), which he studied with Dr. Ed Neal. Each exploration enriching his practice of osteopathy and movement.
Louis has led a life deeply rooted in the endless mystery of the body and it’s processes. From an early age, he was drawn to the discipline, rigor, and inner silence of martial arts, a practice that has remained a constant throughout his life. Although studying many arts, he currently focuses on the subtleties in the art of Tai Chi Chuan as taught to him by David Tircuit.
This passion for movement and desire for adventure led him to the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal, eventually specializing in the arts of slackwire and Chinese pole. His career in circus brought him from performing next to the fjords of Norway to being attacked by a circus elephant in India. Unfortunately, his circus career was cut short by a motorcycle accident that resulted in severe ligament damage to his knee.
Through his journey towards healing he encountered the potency of osteopathy. Returning to Montreal, he delved into the study of osteopathy with great dedication. His efforts were rewarded when he won an award for his thesis, which focused on the Biodynamic model of embryology.

Today, Louis resides in Barcelona, where he continues to practice osteopathy with a unique blend of techniques and insights he has gathered over the years. In addition to his professional practice, he teaches Tai Chi, and shares his knowledge of osteopathy and anatomy in the classroom. Louis is also dedicated to restoring his steel sailboat, a project that combines his love for that great teacher the sea with his journey in craftsmanship
